Get ready to roll into adventure during the Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam Poker Run on Thursday, October 24th, sponsored by The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar! For just $30, you’ll embark on a thrilling journey through five designated stops at local Myrtle Beach businesses, with each entry including a limited-edition Poker Run T-shirt. Over the course of four hours, participants will visit each stop to draw a card, building their poker hand along the way. The top three players with the best five-card hands will win a coveted Poker Run Prize Package, adding extra excitement to your Jeeping adventure.
Volunteers from Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam and Neighbor to Neighbor will be stationed at each stop to manage the event and keep things running smoothly. Plus, all proceeds from the Poker Run will benefit Neighbor to Neighbor of South Carolina, so you’re not just having fun—you’re also supporting a great cause. Neighbor to Neighbor connects volunteers to those in need through wellness calls, pantry food deliveries and transportation to homebound adults in Horry and Georgetown Counties of South Carolina and Brunswick County of North Carolina. OFFICIAL RULES
- Participants must register online. The event is limited to 150 Jeeps. TICKET ARE NOW SOLD OUT.
- The Poker Run will take place between 2 PM and 6 PM. The starting location will be The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar (2461 Ocean Grand Circle, Myrtle Beach). To be eligible for prizes, participants must stop at all 5 locations and the scorecards must be turned in at the final location, back at Crazy Mason by 6 PM. There is no particular route that each participant must follow, as long as all stops are made. Participants can begin their route anytime after they check-in.
- Cost: The entry fee is $30.00, charged per vehicle. With a paid entry, participants will receive 1 scorecard and 1 T-shirt. Additional scorecards may be purchased at the start for passengers for an additional $10.00 per scorecard. (No refunds). Limit one per person and four total scorecards per Jeep
- All participants will be required to adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and assume all fines and penalties related to his or her noncompliance. The committee, organizers, or officials assume no responsibility.
- Participants will receive only one playing card per scorecard at each checkpoint and participants purchasing additional scorecards will draw all additional playing cards individually. (Example: If you enter your vehicle and purchase three additional scorecards, you must draw one playing card per poker hand/scorecard at a time, have it recorded, and continue drawing until all 5 playing cards at that checkpoint have been drawn and recorded). You will not be permitted to draw all playing cards at the same time to create the best score. It must be left to chance and at random).
- Playing cards drawn at a checkpoint must be verified, and scorecards stamped, and recorded before departing a checkpoint. Incomplete scorecards, scorecards that have been and/or appear to be altered, defaced, changed, and/or tampered with will be discarded and disqualified and additional scorecards purchased by that party will be disqualified. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
- No duplication of playing cards may be drawn. (Example: You draw an “Ace” of Hearts at checkpoint and another “Ace” of Hearts at checkpoint two, You must return the second “Ace” of Hearts to the deck and draw another card). No 5 of kinds will be permitted.
- After returning to Crazy Masons, all scorecards must be turned in at the designated location no later than 6 PM, so all cards can be tallied and a winner announced. Any scorecard turned in past the posted deadline will be disqualified and will not be used to determine a winner. All qualifying scorecards will be posted.
- The rule in case of a tie will be a blind “HIGH CARD” draw, between the individuals involved in the tie.
- The penalty for breaking any rule is automatic disqualification. Other rules may be put in place on the day of the event and will be announced and posted before the start of the event.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top three hands. Remember, this is NOT a race.
- All decisions of the committee are final.
